OpenAisle is built on open data and open-source software. Thank you to the people who make them.

Product information (names, images, brands) comes from Open Food Facts contributors, under the Open Database License (ODbL); images under CC BY-SA 3.0. Farm and sourcing information is OpenAisle's own or the producer's, not from Open Food Facts.
Barcode scanning runs entirely in your browser, using open-source libraries built on the zxing-cpp engine. Camera frames never leave your device.
Typefaces — Atkinson Hyperlegible Next and Mono, Instrument Sans, and Newsreader — are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. They're served from our own site, so your browser makes no requests to font services.
The app itself is built with 111 open-source software packages, mostly under permissive licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, ISC).
