OpenAisle is built on open-source software and open data. This page preserves the required notices and credits the projects that make it possible.

Open data

Product information (names, images, brands, product grades) from Open Food Facts contributors — database under the Open Database License (ODbL), contents under the Database Contents License, images under CC BY-SA 3.0. Product pages link back to their Open Food Facts source.
Farm and sourcing information is curated by OpenAisle or provided by producers, and is not derived from the Open Food Facts database.

Notable components

Barcode scanning uses barcode-detector (MIT) and zxing-wasm (MIT), built on the zxing-cpp engine (Apache-2.0). The scanner runs entirely in your browser — camera frames never leave your device.
The Inter typeface (SIL Open Font License 1.1) is self-hosted — no requests to third-party font servers.
